Singing together and listening to vocal music is a basic human need. I want to learn more about this phenomenon.

I was born in 1970, raised in Germany (Bavaria, to be honest) and now live in Freiburg/Germany with my wife and two wonderful daughters.

Professionally, I'm the owner of the event company SpielPlanVier and proud boss of a small but fantastic team. We work for fun an money (or vice versa) in the
domains of event marketing, sponsoring and artist management.

I studied guitar, vocals and arrangement at the Jazz & Rock Schule Freiburg, Germany. Well, a kind of "Jodel-Diplom", one might say. Sang in the Jazzchor Freiburg for 10 years and was tenor, arranger, booker and psychologist for my group "Salto Vocale" for five years in the early 2000s. Then realized my natural limits and switched from microphone to telephone.

see "Intro": Singing together is a great thing both musically and socially. Adrenaline on stage lingered on during many a after show party.

Not being a twen anymore, parties have become precious exceptions. Today I see myself as someone whose know-how of music and business can help to create new opportunities for vocal and a cappella music.

I'm proud and happy to work with and for some of the best vocal groups on this planet. "International A Cappella Top Acts" have become a very important part of SpielPlanVier (www.spielplanvier.com), my company.
Even more important, the work for and with the artists themselves - wonderful musicians and friends - has become a real affair of our hearts.

I will hopefully learn much more about what vocal and a cappella music is all about. I would like to see this idea in my head come true: A strong and vivid internet community which continually meets face to face at the top community events discussing, teaching, coaching, booking etc.

Looking back I would like to be able to say: Yeah, I contributed something to create more opportunities, bigger audiences, more and better music.
