We met whilst studying music at the vibrant Music Department of York University which specialising in composition and vocal music and performance. We wanted to change people's perceptions of contemporary being inaccessible and provide a platform for composers to write music that was influenced by many different genres. We also felt there was a need for more contemporary music to be written for the female voice and vocal ensembles. |
