Apes & Babes, the brilliant acapella group from Trondheim, Norway, has for over ten years thrilled its audience with stunning vocal sounds. The group plays music from all corners of the world - from Iranian disco, through klezmer music, Balkan-jazz and American bluegrass right through to Norwegian lullabies, folk rock and pop music.

They also do covers of songs by a bunch of different artists (including Leonard Cohen and JS Bach) but totally make them their own with their fresh, original approach.

Their sounds range from raw and heavy beats to velvet soft moods, all created by eight great voices. Apes & Babes is one of the best - and definitely the spiciest - vocal groups that Norway has to offer at the moment.

Described as "an experience of interaction, stage charisma and stage mastery," they present superb non-traditional acappella music, with a unique energy and a powerful presence on stage.
